Voice Submission Policy & Privacy Statement
Updated: 5/12/2025
This page explains how we handle your voice submission to The Terrible Photographer Podcast, what you’re agreeing to when you share something with us, and how your privacy is protected.
We believe in transparency, respect, and keeping things human — so here’s what you should know:
🔐 Privacy & Anonymity
We get it — sharing your voice can feel vulnerable. That’s why we take your privacy seriously.
You are not required to share your name. If you want to stay anonymous, just don’t say your name in your recording. We won’t use any identifying info.
If you do say your name, we may use your first name only in the episode unless you’ve given clear permission to include more.
We don’t collect or sell your data. If you use a tool like Telbee or SpeakPipe to submit your message, we only see what you voluntarily share (usually just the audio). No personal tracking, no weird stuff.
We won’t contact you unless you ask us to. This isn’t a mailing list. It’s a conversation.
🎧 How We Use Your Voice
By submitting a voice message, you’re giving us permission to:
Use your voice in an upcoming episode of The Terrible Photographer Podcast, either in full or as an edited excerpt (to trim, tighten, or remove identifying info if needed).
Include your submission in future podcast-related projects, such as:
Episode teasers on Instagram or other social platforms.
Promotional audio for the podcast or book (Lessons From A Terrible Photographer).
Potential future compilations, trailers, or bonus episodes.
We will never use your voice out of context or in a way that distorts your meaning.
You still own your story — we’re just asking permission to share it within the creative framework of the show
🗑️ Want to Remove Your Submission?
No problem.
If you submit something and change your mind — whether it’s 5 minutes later or 5 days later — just reach out. We’ll remove your recording and not use it.
Email us at: patrick@patrickfore.com
We aim to process removal requests within 72 hours, but it usually happens faster.
📣 A Note on Tone & Intention
This podcast is about honesty. The real stuff. The late-night feelings, the weird in-between moments, the friction between creative dreams and real life
When you submit something to the show, we treat it with care — not just as content, but as a contribution to something human. We don’t do “gotchas.” We’re not here for clickbait.
If your message is included in an episode, it’s because it added something valuable. Thank you for trusting us with it.
If you have questions, just reach out. We’re real people. And we’re glad you’re here.
